To All Testers,
RE: Letter from our Chief Operations Operator (C.O.O), Jimmy Thomsett
Howdy! Jimmy Thomsett here, C.O.O for Project Unescapable, a top secret branch of Tetrhea. It is our responsibility to test the
highly volatile and potentially dangerous time portals that Tetrhea has been developing and we need you! - Let’s face it, I’m not doing it!
Is there a team that you can muster together? Preferably one that is highly skilled in communication and equipped with common sense, logical and critical thinking. If not, come anyway, as long as you can function as a human being, you're in!
highly volatile and potentially dangerous time portals will transport you somewhere in the fabric of time - you will have an hour to conduct your research and complete your mission before you return to the present. If you get back in time, great, well done you! - Go home and celebrate, if you’re lucky we might even break out the pineapple and cheese sticks. If you fail to return in time, well, lets cross that interstellar wormhole when we get to it.
We look forward to welcoming you to our facility as we work together to achieve something incredible for humanity.
Oh, P.S. as this is a top secret facility we operate under the cover of an "Escape Room Business" so our site has been subtly altered to make sure we don’t blow our cover.
From what we can gather, Tommy has established itself in 1917, somewhere in the midst of the Western Front. Early reports suggest that Tommy is situated within an allied forces military bunker on the front lines. There is
a very significant chance the slight possibility that the portal may malfunction once you have made your crossing, in which case, you’ll need to work together to repair the portal whilst also ensuring your safety from impending German forces.
This portal was shut down after one of our researchers never returned. We have now re-opened it in order to find her and bring her back. From the limited information we have, we know that the portal has landed in 1872 in an old dressmakers workshop. We need to find out what happened to her, but we’ve heard screams coming from the portal and we’re too scared to go ourselves.
What are we actually doing?
You’ll be taking part in an Escape Room experience, you’ll be locked in a room where you must solve puzzles and clues in order to escape within the time limit (60 minutes)
Is it scary?
Some of our rooms may be scary, the room description should give you an idea of whether or not it is, but if you’re unsure please feel free to contact us and we’d be happy to advise you.
Are we really locked in?
You will be able to leave the room at any time, however re-entry to the room will not be permitted.
What size team should I have?
Our rooms are designed for teams of between 2 and 6 players, naturally, 2 players may find it more difficult to escape than a team of 6... 2 heads are better than one, but 6 are better than 2.
What if we can’t solve the puzzles?
If you get stuck we may offer hints to try to help you to escape in time.
Is there an age restriction?
Our games are designed for players aged 14 and over. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the rooms wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately our rooms are not yet wheelchair accessible, however we’re working to resolve this.
When should we arrive?
Due to the nature of escape rooms, we run to a strict schedule. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your slot time. Ideally, please arrive 10 minutes before your slot time so that you can be briefed before entering the room.
What happens if we’re late?
If you think you are going to be late, then please let us know ASAP, and we will try to do our best to help you get the most from your visit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once a booking is made we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. However if you can no longer make the slot that you have booked, let us know as soon as possible and we will try our best to fill it, if we successfully rebook the slot then we will happily reschedule your slot for another time.
Do we play the rooms with other teams?
No, your team will be the only one playing a room, so make sure you choose your fellow players wisely.
Is it suitable if I’m pregnant?
Our rooms may have physical obstacles such as ducking and stepping, and some rooms may be dark or scary. If you are unsure feel free to get in touch and we will be able to advise in more detail.
Project Unescapable is a great way to develop as a team
